Sharing happiness with other people is easy, but sharing hardship is difficult. We treasure it when parents put their trust in us, despite we have not experienced their pain and may not truly understand their feeling.
A 2-day art exhibition was held on 24 & 25 April at the Pottinger 22 Gallery, a 3-storey art space in Central. It was the finale of the kids art project named “Little Artists” commenced in November 2020. A total of 43 art pieces contributed by a group of young yet talented philanthropists were showcased.

The economic situation of many grassroots families has been greatly affected since the outbreak of the pandemic, and their lives made harder, due to the soaring prices of protective equipment and daily food supplies.
The Fund Raising Sub-Committee (FRC) held the first virtual fundraising event in August - a virtual concert, themed Little Musicians, featuring 38 young philanthropists with musical talents. More than $1 million was successfully raised.
We need our staff to be compassionate so that the young children can feel cared and loved; sometimes like a mother who can be relied on and trusted by the young children; at the same time equipped with professional knowledge and techniques to foster their growth and development.
Due to different reasons, some new-born babies in our society may not experience the love and care from their families. Thankfully, there is still a group of selfless child care workers who work very hard to take care of and protect these children who are not so fortunate.

HKSPC launched Parent @ Super Start (P@SS) Project in November 2018 to provide support and parenting education for families that are raising 0- to 3-year-olds, so as to create the best nurturing environment for the children at their early stage of development.
